Author's Notes: This story goes along with my Odo Festival story. It stands alone, but some of the references to Odo might make no sense to those who have not read the other story. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy this little vignette.= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
"Anything for a Friend"
The Intendant swept her eyes over the form of the lovely Trill. "Mmmm, what have we here?" she asked the Klingon guards who accompanied the woman.
"We found her outside Docking Ring One," one of the Klingons reported.
The Intendant sashayed over and ran her fingers down Jadzia Dax's cheek. "Tell me, my dear, what were you doing there?"
Jadzia turned frightened eyes toward the Bajoran. "I meant no harm."
"Yes, I know," Kira crooned. "but what were you doing?"
Jadzia cast a fearful glance at the Klingon guards. "I was trying to get away from a guard." She lowered her eyes "I know I should obey their commands, but last time..." She choked on a sob.
"Oh, don't cry. You can tell me," the Intendant purred.
"....last time, he was so rough. He hurt me so bad. The next morning, I barely got to my job on time, and I was punished for not being able to do my work." She sniffled.
Kira cast a furious glance at the guards. "No wonder production has been going down lately. Haven't I warned you about weakening our workers?"
The Klingons backed off. "We are just trying to keep discipline. Since that other human escaped, we wanted to make sure nobody else got any ideas," one said.
Kira waved her hand. "You are dismissed. I don't want the workers beaten beyond working ability again. Keep them in line without damaging production."
The two gave a slight bow and left, leaving Jadzia alone with the Intendant. The Bajoran took the Trills hand a led her toward an ornate bed. "Come, let me look at your injuries. I will make sure they are properly taken care of."
Jadzia sat down. She began removing the top of her dirty work clothes. As she did, a series of long, jagged cuts and scars met the Intendant's eyes.
Kira reached out and traced the lines with a gentle finger. She tutted under her breath. "What a terrible thing to do to such lovely skin. I promise to be very gentle with you."
Jadzia trembled. "Thank you, Intendant."
"Call me Nerys, my dear."
"My name is Jadzia."
"Jadzia, please remove the rest of your clothes. I want to make sure you have no permanent damage." The whole sentence came out as a long purr.
The Trill pulled off the rest of her clothing, and Kira carefully surveyed her body. She touched every scar, including those running up Jadzia's thighs. The Trill shivered at the sensations.
Smiling, Kira lowered her mouth to Jadzia's. She kissed the other woman soundly, forcing her tongue into the warm mouth. Jadzia passively endured the intruding tongue.
"You taste wonderful, Jadzia. Lie back."
The Trill did as she was told, and Nerys knelt between her legs. She bent her head and kissed Jadzia's flat stomach. Trailing kisses downwards, Nerys reached Jadzia's center.
Jadzia lashed out with one leg and caught the Intendant between the eyes. Nerys' head snapped back, and she fell off the bed. Jadzia sprang to her feet, ready to defend herself. She saw the Bajoran was not getting up and relaxed. Quickly dressing, Lt. Commander Jadzia Dax glanced again at the prone figure. "Sorry, my dear, I'm afraid I don't have time for the full treatment." She sighed. "A pity, I was enjoying myself."
She hurried over to the Intendant's computer terminal and accessed the information she needed. Once she did that, Jadzia pulled the small, hidden communicator out of her pocket. She punched the button and a swirl of light surrounded her. She stood in the Cargo Bay, just as planned.
Jadzia programmed the transporter, then stepped on the platform. Within seconds, she found herself back on Deep Space Nine. A very relieved Sisko greeted her.
"You all right, Old man?"
"Yes, but it's a good thing Julian put those fake scars and cuts on me."
"Why?"
She smiled mysteriously, leaving him wondering. "I got the information," she said.
"You found Constable Odo?"
"Well, not exactly. He left there over a week ago and took the mirror Julian Bashir with him. He escaped the Klingon patrols and is thought to have gone to the Rebel Base. There's no information since then."
Sisko hung his head. "That means we need to retrieve him."
Dax inclined her head. "Are you sure that's necessary. Benjamin?"
"If he could get back on his own, he would of. He may need our help. I'm going to call a staff meeting for 0800 hours tomorrow to discuss the situation."
"Could you make that later, Benjamin?"
He glanced oddly at her. "Why?"
Jadzia smiled. "I need to talk to Nerys for awhile."
